Insurance Question

This question may have been answered before but I would just like clarification please.

If you take the free one month laptop insurance, does the insurance company ring you after that period or do you have to ring them?

It would be nice to hear from people who have had this option in the past.

If you want to cancel after one month, is it just a simple case of telling the insurers that PC specialist give you that you do not want to carry on with the insurance after that period?

Is it hassle free to do that or is there more to it than that?

Cheers

They don't call you, you will receive an automated email before the free period expires, after which it will automatically roll over to direct debit. The automated email has a link that can be clicked to cancel your free cover.

I need this cancelled. Ive lost any details I had thanks to Windows 8 upgrade. Piers insurance or something wasn't it? What numbers am I quoting when I call them? Can I just cancel the DD?

So they will definitely send me an email with the option of cancelling the insurance before they start taking more money from direct debit.

That's not so bad then. Thanks for the information.
