I am building up an AMD based rig as that is what I am comfortable with Intel leaves me baffled at the moment. Does anyone fancy knocking me up an alternative suggestion based on Intel architecture.
The PC is a frankly overspecced (in my opinion) very light gaming rig (mainly historical and minecraft) however I do like the odd FPS. I want as much bang for my buck as I can get and have overspecced the PSU as I will be adding my own existing 1.5TB storage drive. The PC will be intended to last me as long as my last rig (about 8 or 9 years!) and used mainly for media playback (hence the bluray player) attached to an existing HD 1080p monitor. (My family don't like my choice in movies :/)
800 quid is the maximum price I want to go to.
