So it looks like the 1080 gpu has borked on my octane, it looks like this and won't recognise any external monitors anymore (not hdmi not dp)

While I sort out it with pcspecialist support, I was wondering if there's any way at all to enable the integrated intel card on it, just so I could work for now.
I don't know much about how MXM cards and vbios and all that works, but someone told me once that the nvidia card is directly connected to ports and monitor to support g-sync and be low-latency, and intel card is just not connected to anything? is that the case?

Hi m8 did you sort it out? I'm having problems with my octane iv and 1080. Keeps crash after about 5 minutes in a game. Pc locks up. Tech support told me to uninstall the nvidia gfx and Intel drivers but now I can't get the Intel gfx drivers to install 😂
