Hi, I've been thinking about getting a pc and just needed some advice on what kind of build I need for what I want to do with it.
My budget is around the £2000 mark
I will be using it for gaming, mostly AAA games at high/ultra settings
I will be using a 1440p with 144hz.

Any reason you've gone for intel rather than the new Zen3 AMD chips (which appear to basically be superior generally)?

Would this build be suitable for what I want?
Is the thermal paste applied by PCS so I wouldn't have to do it myself?
If I use liquid cooling is that already filled by PCS?
Will this build last for the future?


My budget for the pc is £2000 and the monitor is included with the configuration.

For AAA gaming, that CPU isn't really necessary. You'd be better dropping to the newer, eight core 5800X which will last you longer. You wouldn't need extra thermal paste, the Corsair cooler comes with one of equal quality. Here's the small tweaks I'd make to optimise it...
