I would welcome any comments on this build for photo and video editing.
Comments on the below would be gratefully appreciated.....
1) I don't think the 3970x would add much over the 3960x in view of the increase in cost - do you agree?
2) Is 64GB RAM too much - I always think you need as much as possible for video editing / rendering.
3) Are the 4GB's Hard Drives a good choice or would 1 x 4TB SSD be better ? (I have selected raid for the HDD's as I have had a hard drive fail before - is this a wise decision or would I be better off with an external back up if HDD's are selected ?)
4) I am not sure whether this case or the Corsair Obsidien 500D SE would be better (I am not proposing any upgrades). Ih Obsidien then why ?
5) Do I need an extra exhaust fan ?
6) I dont really understand the added advantage of a Corsair AX series power supply over an RMx one - can anyone explain?
7) The RGB's are just personal taste to liven it up a bit !
