Is this PC a good fit?

Hi there,
I'm new to PC gaming and I'm considering buying from here since it seems to be the best and cheapest. Here are the specs I've currently got on the quote, so can anyone let me know if this will be powerful? I'm looking to run games like Planet Coaster and Flight Sims (eg the upcoming Microsoft Flight Sim) at a smooth frame rate and pretty good graphics:

AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12 Core CPU

ASUS TUF X570-PLUS GAMING (USB 3.2 Gen 2, PCIe 4.0, CrossFireX)- ARGB Ready!

16GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 2400MHz (2X8GB) RAM

8GB NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 2060 SUPER

1TB SEAGATE BARRACUDA SATA III 3.5" HDD, 6GB/s, 7200 RPM, 64MB CACHE

CORSAIR 450W CV SERIES CV-450 POWER SUPPLY

WIRELESS INTEL Wi-Fi 6 AX200 2,400Mbps/ 5GHz, 300Mbps/2.4GHz PC1-e card + BT5.0

And then some extras:
AOC 21.5" E2270SWDN LED Monitor. 1920×1080, 5MS

CoolerMaster Devastator III Combo Keyboard and Mouse

PCS Gaming Mouse Mat

We're doing it monthly so anything around £47 a month or less is our budget. Thanks in advance!

What’s the overall max budget?

What monitor are you pairing it with? What make and model?

Can you supply the configuration link at the bottom of the quote?

You'll need much faster RAM, 3200mhx and possibly 3600.

You'll want an M2 drive, better PSU, some cooling and things like the CPU I dont have enough expertise to know if its overpowered. but it probably is.

But spyder is the person to help, so if you post the full spec and the link to edit then you'll get much better answers.

With the budget and uses, it's going to require a little thinking to come up with something as Flight Sims are both CPU and GPU Intensive
Is there a build you would recommend?

There's a really good guide to help you understand the system better. https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/forums/threads/desktop-building-guide-may-2020.67892/

From my limited knowledge your case won't be enough to keep your system cool and quiet.

You want a 550 motherboard

Ram, GPU and CPU I don't know. The ram speed is much better, but I might have seen some recommend 32gb for the new flight Sims. People will be able to help with that.

The rest will need more expertise than I possess.

You'll want a 1440p monitor or better

Youve mismatched the CPU, RAM, GPU and Motherboard given its a 1080p monitor you are buying.
The monitor you currently have limits you from putting a "current" build together, if your max budget is £1500 and sticking with that monitor, you wont need the whole budget. It will also never take proper advantage of the flight sim you mention.

If you replace the monitor, are you able to add to the budget at all, or would it need to come from the same total?

There are cheaper monitors but they just aren't currently available on the PCS site.

That is the best spec you will get for that budget....it will run FS2020 as it is well above the minimum specs for it....obviously, it won't run it on maximum settings or anything
Thanks, I apologise for the late reply and posting on another thread, I didn't realise I'd got replies on here. Your build appears to be far better, I adjusted the GPU slightly because I want the graphics to be as good as I can get for the price (now a 2060 rather than 1660) but I just wanted to check it seemed good with you and a general idea of how well it'd run games as well as flight Sims. Thanks so much for your help, I'd be screwed without you!

It’s a custom built PC, so so long as you kit out the base platform well then you can upgrade as you like. It’s only limited by standard things like PSU, motherboard chipset etc.

Does the flight simulator really warrant 32Gb RAM? I thought that had been but to 16GB, and 3200Mhz
That build is also for a 1440p monitor, and the monitor you have put is still a 1080p monitor.... theres no point going over the 1660 Ti and putting a 2060 Super in unless you get a better monitor with it or very soon.
Storage as well, youve gone for a M.2 which will do just fine as the main drive/operating system, remove the 256Gb SSD.
Having a second drive as a storage drive here should be about space, 1Tb or 2TB, or if you have drives you can add yourself from an old system.
Buying a 256Gb SSD when you have a 500GB M.2 SSD is just wasted money.
Another option to increase space would be to have just one drive, and increase the size of it, so a larger M.2 (or if budget wont allow, just a standard SSD but a decent size)

If i've got the right one... extract from review:
Miscrosoft Flight Simulator is obviously a gorgeous game with a ton of fidelity in every frame, so you’d imagine a pretty substantial machine would be required to run it smoothly, particularly at 4K as is shown in the reveal trailer. It turns out that the minimum specs are actually pretty reasonable. To keep it brief, here are the recommended system specs:

CPU: Ryzen 5 1500X / Intel i5-8400
GPU: Radeon RX 590 / Nvidia GTX 970
VRAM: 4GB
RAM: 16GB
HDD: 150GB
Bandwidth: 20 Mbps
