I recently got a new computer and even with the antenna installed the connection is really inconsistent. At the highest it'll go up to 20mbps but that's rare and it'll often sit at around 5-10mbps, sometimes even dropping down to 1mbps or lower. This is strange to me as the WiFi on my phone and laptop will hold a steady 25-30+ mbps. I have tried reinstalling my network drivers and updating them, but they are currently on the latest version.

The first thing to try is Ethernet connecting (with a cable) your PC directly to your router. This of course may mean you need to temporarily move the PC, but this will show you whether the problem is with your WiFi card or with the PC in general. Let us know what your speeds are like when cable connected.
