(my wife says I should really grow up - he he - she just doen't understand...)
Anyone have any realistic estimates as to how long it takes from now?

Shouldn't take long mate, a day in building - today , then a day in testing/quality control - tomoz. Then ready for dispatch!!!! fingers crossed mate

At least some good news today!!!
the MOT man says my Focus has a broken spring on the back....
ah well what else would I do with £60...

could have been worse.

Soon be looking forward to days of configuring applications, tweaking this, tweaking that - Oh what fun...
lots of stuff to do regarding SSD management, I'm not going to get any sleep soon ;-)

And of course I have to try out all the different colour lights for the keyboard, white sounds nice but must give each colour a chance, it's only fair ;-) Blue also sounds good.

I'm only on my second working day, currently at the Pre-production stage. I have a new computer itch already and I can't wait to get my hands on it!!

Mine has now entred the 'Awaiting Dispatch' (11th working day) phase.

I have all my installation CD ready, all my software keys ready, an order of installations...

If it arrives tomorow i will have a very busy weekend, how do I tell the wife we have to cancel her birthday meal.... best not i think... ;-)

It has been despatched, I have a DPD tracking number.

It seems to have gone from pre-production in a matter of two days.

So some of the time it was in order processing and pre-production it was actually in some of the other stages.

I guess it's hard to update the computer system at every stage.

11 working days.

So with a bit of luck i will get it tomrorrow.

So exciting...

Mine went from build to me in a matter of two days

I have mine now and I'm busy configuring it.

The speed is incredible. SSD are the way to go.

Last Monday, 11th working my desktop day was in Testing and QC. Tuesday was delivered and today was received by my wife 10:16.
I ordered it the evening 8th September, so in total it took 17 calendar days to the whole process. I consider it EXCELLENT.
