How in the hell did someone make a story out of this, it's been done on a multitude of products since the dawn of advertisement. 9 out of 10 cats prefer whiskers, you know.

Whiskers don't ask a person who's got a tin of Felix in their hand which brand of cat food they prefer to buy.

More on topic, I don't see why EA not wanting people who aren't a fan of the franchise to be the ones getting copies ahead of the guys who are equals conspiracy.

Exactly. I imagine every big release has done this, probably since the PS2 days. BF3 just seems to have been caught a bit better.

On topic though, I regret massively not ordering my BF3 copy from play.com now.

I origionally intended to buy it at my local retailer, but after reading this I decided to order the limited edition from play.com for £32, I ordered it last night, and today at 4:11 it was dispatched, so I might get it before friday as well even after ordering it this late .

I'm just happy I got a limited edition so I get the 4 free maps. ^^
