Just about to make an expensive purchase (for me) - any advice on the config would be MUCH appreciated

The only use for the PC is for VR sim racing with iRacing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I've gone for an all white configuration but have tried not to compromise on the spec.

I have a couple of questions for those in the know:
  • Is a 1000w PSU enough for this set up and future proofing?
  • I to install a network card (for a sim motion I'll be using). I wanted to check that as the NVidia card is installed vertically, there is enough room for other PCI cards. The network card is half height.
  • I've ordered 3 extra fans. Is that enough or over the top?

No need for a network card, as Ethernet will be on the motherboard, and yes 1000W should be fine

Sorry this got missed!

To be honest with the 4090 which can draw 600W on its own, you really need a 1200W I'd say to be really comfortable for the future. You don't want a PSU running anywhere near close to it's limits, they're not so efficient that way, especially in higher tier builds like this.

I to install a network card (for a sim motion I'll be using). I wanted to check that as the NVidia card is installed vertically, there is enough room for other PCI cards. The network card is half height.
If it's half height, then yes, it's supported in this case, this case only accommodates half height cards. The GPU is mounted more towards the side glass, so the half height slots in before it closer to the motherboard.

So in the image, you have the cable riser slotted into the PCIe slot on the motherboard, underneath that riser cable shroud you have all the half height slots.

With this case I would say that's about right actually, then you'd have 3 on the cooler, plus several for the case flow. The AF120 fans are really good quality too.

1TB SAMSUNG 990 PRO M.2, PCIe 4.0 NVMe (up to 7450MB/R, 6900MB/W)
1st M.2 SSD Drive
1TB SAMSUNG 990 PRO M.2, PCIe 4.0 NVMe (up to 7450MB/R, 6900MB/W)
Just on these, I would personally drop them down to the P44 pro's, they're a little cheaper, around the same speeds but actually better rated for IOPS so have better endurance.

Other than that though, it looks really solid.
