Just ordered a Vortex IV 15.6

Well after many hours scouring the web, reading various reviews and looking at various options i have just ordered a Vortex IV 15.6"

It seemed the best value for money by far, along with being able to spec it exactly how i wanted it

Also the customer service is supposed to be great (we will see)

Looks great man, i would make sure you have gone for the Silver warranty at least, its only a £5 i think but it gives you a years collect and return if you need it as its about £35 carriage otherwise. Assuming you live in the UK.

I got the Vortex 2 a couple of years ago with the HD6990m at the time and im happy to say that after two years the thing is still a beast in my opinion, still runs new games in the medium to high range with a great framerate.

I hope you get the same experience.

yep i got the silver warranty, seemed worth it for the £5 extra

Just hoping my payment clears before midday so they can start building it

I went for the 3 day fast track service as im impatient, if it clears before midday then today counts as one day

Yeah the waiting game is a nightmare. Think i waited about 3 weeks for my one but i would do it again. Its not so bad if you have a machine to see you through the waiting time.

Well iv received my new laptop!

I ordered on Wednesday 15th of January (last week) and received it on Saturday 18th of January (yesterday)

Im very impressed with the service from PC Specialist!

The laptop is great!

I have the optical SSD drive caddy, but how do i access it?!
