What's this for?

If for gaming, it's not very well balanced at all I'm afraid, the GPU is completely overpowered for the monitor, the platform is extremely poor and various things aren't suitable for it anyway.

I would strongly recommend NOT buying this and getting some advice.

It depends. What is your budget and what are you going to be using the PC for? e.g Gaming, Streaming, Editing etc

Gaming, 3D modelling sometimes and light editing but mostly focused on gaming. The gpu I still want the 3090 as I can take it out and use it for my laptop as external egpu… budget to be £5,800.00 including the two monitors, keyboard and chair…. Thanks

This is where I would be looking. The 11th gen Intel CPUs aren't a great generation so you have the choice of 12th gen Intel or AMD to pick and I've gone for the latter here.
If gaming is the focus I would probably recommend downgrading to the 3080, you'll save a big chunk of change for a very small performance increase. The 3090 is more geared towards productivity; if the modelling and editing was the forefront of your uses we would be having a very different discussion. You have a very generous so we can definitely keep it in anyway.
Rejgged your storage to have a superfast gen 4 drive for OS and programs, then 2tb of fast NVME storage for games and projects, with the HDD for general bulk storage like photos and music.
The AX200 Wireless Card is all you need, with the Asus you're basically paying for branding.

This leaves us with 2 grand for monitors, keyboard and chair.
For the monitors I would definitely be targeting 4K gaming with a 3090, so I would recommend the Gigabyte M32U, a 32 inch 4k144hz IPS display which will have great performance for both gaming and productivity.
Keyboard wise you could stick with the Razer keyboard you wanted or you could go for a Corsair keyboard, and have all of your case fans and cooler RGB sync up with your keyboard on iCue. Lots of us on the forum have the K70 models which I am happy to recommend.
Chairs are not my area of expertise and I will defer to my colleagues on the forum for this.

JUNI0R

VALUED CONTRIBUTOR
If you wanted to stick down the Intel route, the build would look something like this

I've gone for a slughtly higher wattage PSU due to the higher power draw of the 12900K as well as some braided cables, they'll really finish off the build.

In total agreement about the 3090 above, for a gaming use it's a frankly stupid card. At 4K you're gaining an average of 12 FPS for the best part of NINE HUNDRED POUNDS over a 3080, that's £75 a frame!. I understand the 3D modelling use less than the gaming use, so if that's ultra GPU intensive, then fair, but as a gaming GPU, the 3090 is a total waste of money and I'd strongly recommend the 3080 over it.

(I couldn’t add the monitors as they now shows off stock, but the order I have now has them because yesterday they were in stock…)

The new confirguration will be now £5,650.00 from the previous one which is £5,663.00…

The new question is… can I now change the configuration because I already order it yesterday and I applied throw personal finance…

The monitors would be wasted frankly. They're totally underpowered for the 3090, and I'm not sure why you'd spend all that money on two as you'd only be gaming on one

A 1440 Superwide or 4k 144hz would be needed to make any use of the gpu.

Also, I wouldn't recommend a Gigabyte board, they have a big where it gets stuck in post for a good couple of minutes

Thing is… I will also purchase separately the Samsung Odyssey G9 from a friend so the gpu will be helpful to power all of them 3…

Stuck in post for what reason?

Also sorry everyone for your time, many thanks

It's a bug in the board. Can't be fixed.

There's no gpu on the plant that could power that resolution.

Alright, so can you change the gpu and motherboard and remaining money until £5,663.00 upgrade something else which will improve or help the build? (still want to go forward with the two monitors choice I made)

Many many thanks!

I'm not sure you're understanding what were saying.

What are you expecting from these monitors? You won't be able to game on them so there's no point getting gaming monitors

What is your reason for getting them?

My choice for two ASUS PG329Q 32" ROG Swift is because they are 32" then most of the monitors which are 27", only 144hz - 175hz is just more than enough for what games I'm also playing, and 1440p is just the perfect resolution for me as 4k its useless for the price... also the fact that they are Wide Adobe RGB color gamut...

Also, most of the time one of the monitors will be connected to my Razer Bade 15 Advanced when I'm home... as I'm using the laptop in building sites every day... but I still want to play games which I can use two monitors at the same time.

Also, the 3090 seems available as the 3080 or ti versions are out of stock...

You're buying 3090 to game at 1440p? 🤔

At this point, I'm lost in all configurations...

Let's start fresh then, so I'm not professional at this at all...

Mainly thing to have added in this configuration is:

- Have the two ASUS PG329Q 32" ROG Swift
- Have the Razer® BlackWidow V3 Pro (Green Switch)
- Have the GT Omega PRO Racing Office Chair - Black Leather

Now... I wanna go the Intel Core route for sure... surely the i9-12900K will be my 100% choice...

I'm gaming every day for like 2 hours after work... mostly CS:GO, cyberpunk 2077, Forza Horizon 5, and battlefield 2042...
I also do 3D cad for building projects for clients to have a visual representation....
Lightway editing for my mother's job, but they tend to be like 5 to 8hrs of video footage to render.

I already have ordered without asking firstly for opinions soo is it possible to change the config now or do I need to cancel it and do it over again? Because I did it throw personal finance as well...

Right my advice is this. First contact PCS and confirm with them whether you can amend your order. I have no idea how it works when you pay through finance.

If they say yes you can then I would take into account all the advice you have already been provided in this thread by @MrWilson @JUNI0R and @SpyderTracks and amend your order inline with that advice.

If you cant amend your order I really would cancel it and start again.

If you are predominantly going to use this build for 1440p gaming then you are just setting fire too your money.

If you want to stick with Intel @JUNI0R has recommended a quality build but like he said you really do not need a 3090. It is a colossal waste of money.

Honestly if you are gaming 1440p you could use a RTX 3070. They only have a 3070TI in stock at the minute but that would still save you an enormous amount of money.

Thanks, also when is says (pre-order only) for the graphics card... it means that they are in stock or it will take a while until they can build it?
