Keyboard Lights stuck on Blue

My keyboard lights are multicoloured during boot up but then turn to blue and stay blue. When I put the laptop into sleep mode, the blue keyboard lights remain on. I am not aware of making any changes to cause this. Is there software (driver or otherwise) I can down load to correct these problems?

Specifications set out below.

Many thanks

You use control center to manage the lights, it will be in running programs in the up arrow of the taskbar, or if you've reset windows at any time, you'll need to reconfigure your drivers and then install control center from your PCS account downloads.

Downloads offered on my account is only for an entire reload of Windows? I don't suppose that is what you meant? I don't have control centre on my laptop as far as I am aware. It is certainly not running. How do I "reconfigure" the drivers? And which drivers?
Thanks
A

The laptop came with Windows 10. A long while ago I "upgraded" to Windows 11. So I guess that would be a "yes", Sorry, yes, I have found Control Centre. But there is no option I can find to adjust the keyboard lighting or RGB

Ah - I have also found the following downloads. Are any of them what I need? Screenshot attached for greater clarity

In case it helps here is the information on the currently installed drivers. As you can also see, no option is given regarding colours or the coming on and off of the backlighting

Gaming center has all the RGB controls for the keyboard.

So I guess I should download and install gaming centre from my downloads? I don't think I still have it on my laptop

I have it but it does not open. actually what I "thought" I said, or meant to say was that GamingCentre is available in my downloads on the PCSpecialist Download page for my account.

So - it IS installed on my laptop but does not open.
And there is a zip file on my downloads page for a Windows 10 GamingCentre

Sorry to be a nuisance. I may add that all my laptops from PC specialist have been the best machines I have ever bought.

What do you mean it doesn't open? Is there an error message when you double click the icon? It's a driver, you have to run it from running apps in the up arrow of the tasbar

It is not listed in the up arrow of the taskbar. I assumed it was an App since it was listed under Apps. I had not realised it was a driver - I assumed it was a programme.

I can not see it under "processes" on Task Manager

In answer to an earlier question, I have not reset Windows 11. But of course I did install Windows 11 over Windows 10.

Sent this to support. I am still confused as to what action to take.

I raised the following problem on the forum:

My keyboard lights are multicoloured during boot up but then turn to blue and stay blue. When I put the laptop into sleep mode, the blue keyboard lights remain on. I am not aware of making any changes to cause this. Is there software (driver or otherwise) I can down load to correct these problems?

I haven't got any very satisfactory answer. I gather GamingCenter controls the lights of the keyboard. My apps show that GamingCentre is installed but I can not access the program to change the light settings.

I have downloaded 09_GamingCenter zip from my downloads.

I note that it is for Windows 10 whereas I now have Windows !!.

Should I just try and reinstall this App/Driver? Should I remove the existing non functioning version first?"

It seems that GamingCentre is an Application which comes with an*. exe file. Perhaps the application comes with drivers which controls the LEDs. Nonetheless, it is clearly an application and not "just" drivers. Hence I was "right" to state that I can not open it. Looking at other threads it is clear that GamingCenter is a GUI app to control the LED lights. Obviously it is possible that I may need an updated version for W11

Urm, most driver installers are MSI or EXE packages actually that they install the inf files. It's not something we're going to be able to help with, you're best speaking to PCS

OK, tally ho, here we go.
My computer is a 10 year old Vortex II but has a Clevo chassis and a set of drivers which includes the Control centre. The control centre is a quick access to a range of features, only one of which is the backlight keyboard. Access to the control centre is by Fn/Esc. (on my computer). The User Guide book (not the Welcome Book) describes all.

Downloading the drivers from PCS gives you a list of drivers that you can install although it is generally best to allow MIcrosoft to do this in the first instance. However, one exception is the Control Centre which, on my computer, is called the 'Hotkey'. So, comparing your list of drivers with mine.

Thank you for your helpful research and comments. Most of the settings I have in my Windows Control Center. With thee exception of the backlit keyboard setting. I guess it must have got corrupted somehow with the endless Windows updates. I have written to tech support and will post their reply here. In my case it seems to be a clear case of re-installing the GamingCenter. But maybe with software updated for Windows 11
