Unit took a little longer to arrive than I had hoped, but was within the timeframe quoted, and arrived safely and well packaged. I ordered without OS but it actually had some sort of windows on for use during testing (not activated). My intention was always to put Ubuntu on, which I did. The only issue was with the wifi but this is due to using the latest 15.04 version, and is a known bug. To get round this I used a wired connection for the initial install. Since then it has been fine.
Screen is excellent - very bright, keyboard good, all function keys work etc. Battery life is only 4 to 5 hours, which again is pretty much expected. Power brick is small and easily transportable (19V DC out). The unit is easy to carry and from a distance looks like any other ultrabook. This size of screen suits me well and is probably the best feature.
Speed wise it seems pretty easy to max out the 4 cores. I don't do gaming but large graphics (e.g. flickr on full screen) do make it pause a bit, not sure if this may be more software related but the processor is hitting max.
Trackpad is OK - bottom RH corner provides right click, RHS provides vertical scroll. I'm not a fan of these at all, but also don't like to lug a mouse everywhere.
Other bits of spec.:-
Lafité Silver Aluminium Chassis: 13.3" Matte Full HD IPS LED (1920 x 1080)
Processor (CPU) Intel® Core™ i3 Dual Core Processor i3-5010U (2.10GHz)
Memory (RAM) 8GB KINGSTON SODIMM DDR3 1600MHz (1 x 8GB)
Graphics Card INTEL® HD GRAPHICS 5500 (Only with Intel® Core™ CPUs)
2nd Graphics Card NONE
Memory - Hard Disk 500GB SERIAL ATA III 2.5" HARD DRIVE WITH 32MB CACHE (7,200rpm)
Overall - excellent value, easy to live with.
