Hey guys,
I've managed to get Avermedia HD to work on my PC after some fitting problems (in this thread) but now I have a nice brand new problem! haha
Its quite strange actually, basically I'm getting lag on my dual screen setup. This mainly happens when I drag windows to my secondary monitor, which is actually a 40 inch widescreen flatscreen tv. My setup with Avermedia HD is that the graphics card is outputted to the Avermedia card HDMI to HDMI, and the card outputs HDMI to the TV, and outputs DVI/VGA to my primary monitor. Ever since getting Avermedia I've been having this lag issue.
The lag issue is that windows is lagging behind the commands that I use, say opening a new tab in chrome, or even trying to use Explorer to browse files, or even move windows around. I'm wondering if the HDMI connection to the TV Avermedia is causing this, although I cant think of any logical reason why this would do this?
So far I've googled lots, tried the following;
- Reinstalling Chrome, Disabling certain Chrome Plugins
- Updated every single driver I could find
- Windows Update, plus updated all programs I could think of
- Defragged all Hard Drives
- Changed Paging File Setup
Any ideas?
