Laptop bleeping and shutting down.

Hello,
About 1 year and half ago I got my laptop from Pcspecialist. Everything was going fine until now, When I boot up my laptop it makes 2 short bleeps and the num lock & cap lock & scroll lock flash on and off with the beeps this happens on the windows logo then it turns on to windows like normal. If I attempt to run a game such GTA V or Battlefield 3 shortly after the game is running the fan goes to 100% instantly and the num lock, cap lock, and scroll lock lights start flashing blue on and off for about 30 seconds if I do not close the game the laptop will just shutdown however if I shutdown the game fast sometimes the lights stop flashing the fan stops and it does not shutdown. If I boot into the BIOS the fans go right to 100% and the lights flash along with bleeping sound that bleeps 22 times before shutting down.

Last week I upgraded from windows 7 to windows 10 I never had this problem once on windows 7 and it has only just started today however I have been playing games on windows 10 for a few days and the problem never happen once until today.

The specs of the laptop are.
i7-4710MQ
GTX 860M
8GB RAM

I have included some videos below. they are private you will need to type the password. laptop

Sounds like it might be shutting down to protect itself. I would recommend loading up a program like HWMonitor to check the temperatures of the GPU and CPU after playing games for a while and report what kind of temperatures you're getting.

Hi, I really don't think its a temperature problem, Since my CPU is 41c right now and my GPU is 40c and if I opened a game right now the flashing lights and full fan power would start instantly within 20 seconds of being in game.

Gpu won't be running until the game is loaded, so that's when you'll see temps rise. Best to check to be sure.

Hello, so I started up GTA V and as SOON as the game opened the flashing lights started and around 20 seconds after the lights flashing the pc just shutdown.

CPU was 58c
GPU was 44c

I never even managed to get into the game it shutdown on the loading screen.

As Spyder says, that will be the moment the GPU kicks in and starts to generate a lot of heat and if it reaches a high enough temperature it will first try to throttle but if that fails then it will shut down to protect itself. If this is indeed the case then there may be some issues with the cooling and either the cooling heat sink is not properly connected to the surface of the GPU/CPU or the airways for the fan are completely blocked meaning the fan will spin but generate no airflow.

Oops, you just beat me to it. Those temps do indeed seem fine. I would recommend contacting PCS via phone as they will likely have full details on why it is happening.
