Laptop for gaming...

Hey,

I keep changing my mind about what to buy computer wise, either a laptop or a desktop, but something more portable is probably the best thing for me at the moment.

I was just wondering if something like this would play Battlefield 3 when it comes out? I am not bothered about max settings as I know that won't happen, but I am pretty much maxed out budget wise so I will have to look for alternatives if this isn't good.

this will easily play bf3 and at decent settings, if you are looking at lowest settings then you could probably get one for much less

Oh really?

I didn't think it would play it that well, I don't mind spending the money, I would just like it to last 3 years

Ha thanks for the reminder, I forgot about that.

Pfft I can't find many websites talking about the 555M and bf3, I just don't want to buy it and find out it doesn't play it.

The 555M isn't the most popular graphics card.

Perhaps you could look for talk about people using the lesser 540M or 6630M instead? Or even the quite significantly better 460M, 560M and 6770M if still no details can be found.
