Laptop Issue with performance while playing Elden Ring (+ likely more)

Hey all, for a while now I have an issue where at least one of my games (elden ring) is choppy ingame, to be specific it is as if its stopping to take screenshots every half second (if you get what effect I mean).
While charging I can hear mechanical beeping of sorts (beeeep, beeeep and so on) but its dead quiet otherwise when fully charged and on cable.
Weirder thing is quite often, the pc seems to also work perfectly at full power and elden ring works properly. Actually as I'm typing it, elden ring seems to stop being choppy... im confused what is going on now 😆
Is this a screwed up battery or something is loose? Also on my case, where I have 2 buttons, 1 for modes and 2nd for power, and to the right of the power button (which isn't flashing, it's normal constant light) a few millimeters to the right to be specific, the light is flashing on and off. Now I do not know if its normal or not since I usually dont look at any of the lights but figured I best mention it.

Now, to add a bit extra, it seems as if, if I keep it plugged a significant while to the laptop probably fully charging the battery (as I always unplug for the night), as mentioned before it's back to normal.

Would it be possible to have a video of this choppy screen? I'm having a hard time envisioning what it looks like unfortunately.

As for the rest of the post, my personal guess would be a choppy/inconsistent display + beeping issue could indicate issues with how the laptop is receiving power. If this is the case, I'd recommend giving PCSpecialist a call (or message via your account inbox) to bring this up with them for a potential RMA if you're still under warranty.

If you don't want to discuss a potential RMA at the moment, you could try other troubleshooting activities such as installing GPU driver updates (clean install), or looking into possible overheating with software such as HWInfo64. https://www.hwinfo.com/download/

I'd normally recommend downloading software such as Intel XTU to look for potential throttling issues, but your AMD CPU wouldn't work with the software and I'm not familiar with an AMD equivalent to this.

Also, does this choppy display occur on just Elden Ring? Or is it all games? Or just demanding/new games?

Lastly, no need to be nervous. Taking the step to ask for advice is always a good idea, and everyone posting here started with little to no knowledge of PC's/Laptops. Hopefully if this gets fixed, your solution can potentially help others with a similar issue.

A few things to check (some already mentioned):

- are you fully up to date with drivers / windows updates.
- have you checked temperatures whilst running game
- how long ago did you buy the laptop and if approx 12 months ago, have you performed any maintenance / cleaning on it?
- are you playing on wifi or wired connection to network?
- if wifi - have you checked if you get choppiness with wired?
- have you checked loose connections when connected to power? it could be power adapter issue - the beeping being when it first receives power, then it cuts out and then cuts in (beeps again)..also the choppiness might be that the system goes into a power saving mode when it loses the connection to power and is using battery (ie reduces power to grfx card etc).
