Laptop shuts down when booting from standby or full shutdown without plug

Can someone help me?
My laptop cuts out when I boot it from Standby mode or after shutting it down if it's not plugged. If I plug it in during the booting stage and unplug it once it is fully on, everything works fine, but if I close the lid and boot it up again I can literally hear the power cut off.

After the power cut's off, if I wait a few minutes I can turn it on just fine with the On the button.

The Laptop is a Cosmos Series: 17.3" Matte Full HD IPS 60Hz 72% NTSC LED Widescreen (1920x1080)
Can anyone help?

When did you buy the laptop?

What maintenance have you performed on the laptop since you purchased it? - eg. have you ever re-pasted it / cleaned out the vents etc?

What are you settings for power management on it?

Are all your Windows updates installed?
