I was wondering whether the differences in ram, cpu and gpu justify the price difference. I will only be using the laptop for counterstrike source and fifa game wise so the tech doesn't have to be top notch.

You won't get a lot of advice against PCS here since this is their forum, but objectively:

The features in the Enigma spec that are significant improvements are the graphics card (GT-650M vs 630M) and the hard disk (7200 RPM vs 5400). The CPUs are more or less the same - the 3230M is simply the newer replacement for the 3210M and has a marginally higher clock-speed.

The Enigma will play a much wider range of games at medium/high settings.

The Enigma would allow you to select a higher resolution (1920 x 1080) screen. 1366 x 768 is quite low-res for a 15.6" screen.

I notice that you have chosen Windows 7 in your PCS spec. You will get Windows 8 (like it or not) with the Z580 though. There's also a strong likelihood that the Z580 will come preloaded with bloatware, which PCS will not inflict on you.

Btw, out of the PCS range the Genesis is closer in spec to the Z580 than the Enigma.
