Led Installation on CPU

Hi, I'm new on the forum so forgive me if I miss placed this thread!

I'm having some problem to install some led I bought recently. I've watched lots of videos on the matter but my led model seems to be different:

How to cut, connect & power LED Strip Lighting
How to Add LED Lights to a PC / Computer Case

In all videos I saw they welded the wires in the little spots marked with the negative and positive poles. However the model I acquired doesn't have those spots:

So... I'm guessing I should weld the led to the wire via the copper section meant to be cut as well?

Here?

But still, there's no negative/positive pole reference, so... I don't know what to do.

Any help will be mostly appreciated, and thanks for your time.
