Before I post this part of my experience so far, I want to be clear. I'm not complaining in the slightest, PCS has been perfectly clear and open about everything. And nothing has been an actual problem, again, PCS has been very helpful.
On Monday morning, I received an email from PCS, apologising, and explaining that the case I'd ordered was now out of stock. They didn't know when they'd have it back in stock, it may or may not be some time, I could wait, or I could choose another case. I decided I didn't want to wait, so I opened the configurator and chose another case, out of stock too, another case, that was accepted. But then the configurator told me my preferred PSU was also out of stock, and it wouldn't accept any PSU on the configurator. So I phoned. Got a very helpful person on the phone. Explained my problem, as above, so they checked on their configurator, there was a suitable PSU for my system, but my 3rd choice case wasn't available either. So we went through what was available and ended up with the £134 Thermal Take case. Quite a bit more expensive than I wanted to spend, but not ridiculously over. But that case is HUGE, and therefore has to be a 2 person delivery, at an extra cost of £40ish. I went with it anyway, so we sorted out the finances. After a post and some replies, I decided that I wanted a different case altogether. A Lian Li 011D Evo, which was cheaper due to being within the size limits of standard delivery. So after checking with PCS, I bought the case from a competitor, who delivered to PCS, again no problem. Finances were re-sorted, everything went fine, my computer is now being built.
This is the - Case Requests section. I'd like to Request that some higher end Lian Li cases are added to the case line-up.
As well as the Lian Li cases already there. They're popular, apparently very well designed, well executed cases. Not cheap, but not hugely expensive either. The 'send in your own case' option in the configurator is great, but I'd also prefer PCS stocked it themselves.

The Lian Li cases are amazing, and actually the O11 Dynamic XL is actually available in the liquid series configurator

I don't know, I can't speak for PCS reasoning, so please don't take this as a voice for the company in any way, but AFAIK, this case is really large and I think means that it has to be delivered on a Pallet rather than just normal boxed. I don't know for sure, but wonder if that may be an influence on not being available on the normal configurator.
But it's a wonderful case, it's actually a few years old now, but it's still one of the top picks out of most cases at the top end imho.
But the 4090 is a whole new beast in the size of case it requires, I have no doubt a lot of larger options will start appearing over the coming months.

And, the 011 Dynamic cases come with a variety of gpu fitting options, at extra cost. But they are available, as are quite a few other options.
I didn't look in any other configurator, just the AMD AM5 one. I guess I kind of expected all the cases to be in all the configurators. Obviously large cases wouldn't be in a small form factor configurator.
And this raises a question, to me anyway. Can any case, from any configurator, be chosen for any other build configurator, provided it's suitable for the proposed build?

That's a really good question, and not something we could answer. Perhaps it's worth giving PCS a call and seeing if they'd do something at their own discretion. Can't hurt to ask.

I can't speak for PCS, but it looks like it's currently out of stock as it's not selectable.
But it was never in the standard configurator, even before the 4090 was released, it's only ever been in the watercooled configurator.
Came across this which does suggest large 4090's do fit in the case
"Gigabyte 4090 AORUS MASTER graphics card on a Gigabyte Z690 AORUS XTREME board. There are no HDDs, only three M2 SSDs. The 4090 AORUS MASTER is huge and does not fit well into the case horizontally (it is possible, but the 12VHPWR adapter is bent too much by the glass window for my taste). SSD, Chipset and MB temperature is way lower with a vertical setup. Unfortunately, the vertical GPU bracket does not allow for another PCIE card, which is why I had to abandon my beloved Asus Xonar sound card and switched for a Sound Blaster X4. The info display is based on RainMeter and HWiNFO and a custom script. Colors can be changed with the mousewheel on the fly to match the fans. I use the 32" 4k 120 Hz Samsung Odyssey screen @ 10 bit HDMI 2.1 for working and non-competitive gaming and the 24.5" full hd 360 Hz Asus predator for competitive gaming / as a 2nd screen for working tasks if required. Cable management is yet to improve; a BeQuiet 12VHPWR - adapter is purchased and will hopefully arrive soon to clean up the mess and replace Gigabytes adapter."

Officially the case takes Graphics cards up to 446 mm and the Founders Edition is 336mm

So it should fit absolutely fine, unless it's one of the huge monster outlier cards.

Just to confirm as realise it could come across as confusing, PCS don't stock Founders Edition cards currently, all their cards are board partner cards, usually Palit or Zotac, but often Gigabyte also, can be anything if there's huge demand and they need to fulfill orders. I just used Founders Edition as the base as they tend to be smaller than the aftermarket cardsI can't speak for PCS, but it looks like it's currently out of stock as it's not selectable.

It isn't that much bigger than the 011D Evo.
XL (D) 471 x (W) 285 x (H) 513 mm
Evo(D) 459 x (W) 285 x (H) 465 mm. An inch deeper, same width and 2 inches taller.
They are wider than many cases and I think the 4090 fits those standard width cases, just. It isn't particularly the width of the fitted card, I believe. It's that the power cable comes straight out from the edge of the card. It's a special new design(?) with separate sensor wires into the plug and socket, so it knows if only 3, or all 4 power cables are plugged into the psu. It only has 30 plug-in unplug cycles too. Once fitted, the cable has to be bent through 90 degrees, which puts some strain on the plug and socket, the tighter the bend, the greater the strain.
If I end up fitting a 40** series Nvidia card, I think I'll be grateful for that extra bit of width over most cases.
I'd enquire about the size if I were you, specifically about standard delivery or pallet delivery. Pallets can be custom made, to fit the size of the box that's on them. But, I've done overnight parcel driving work. If it's on a pallet, it's moved by forklift. If the forks are set for standard pallets, the forky won't jump off and adjust them hand. He'll just lift it with one fork, so it'll tip and lean on the other fork as he lifts it, if he's a conscientious forky. If he isn't, he'll lift it with one fork and let it fall against the other. If it's on a standard 80 x 120 cm pallet, that's a big heavy lump of wood to move about on your own. Unless special delivery states "into the building" or something similar, delivery is "to the doorstep". From the doorstep, you are on your own. I don't expect £40 on a £4k build is going to be significant.
