Potentially a contentious topic, but just wondered two things regarding PCS laptops:
- Is the BIOS locked on for example the Vortex III or SkyFire models?
- Has anyone attempted to overclock their GPU slightly on one of the above? I would assume it could possibly void the warranty but I was purely wondering how well built the laptops are to cope with minor performance tweaks, as Alienware & Samsung laptops seem to cope reasonably well with it.
I don't wish to promote the idea by the way, clearly it's at your own risk if you choose to ignore the risks
