Looking for a £700 Setup

Hey,
This will be my very first experience of buying a pc which isnt from your typical chain retailers (such as Pcworld). I have little knownledge on what i would need to get into my computer to get some gaming out of it Im looking to spent £700 with a being pushed to £750. The main uses of the computer would be for games, i know from reading over the forums that this is a low budget for a gaming pc but i know that at £700-750 i wont be playing games on high anyways, i currently play alot of Counter-Strike:Source and Garrys Mod these games are fairly easy to run on many computers but i would also like to have the opertunity to play games such as Battlefield 3 even if not on the good graphics but i wouldnt know where to start on building it up, and as Counter Strike: Gobal Offensive is due out early 2012 theres no better time for me to buy!

This is what I got, now I know your budget is £700-£750, but everything I did went over. So i just stuck with this and its only £9 over the top of you budget. I picked what I because it should provide adequate gaming, but the case also allows it so stay cool. Iim not the best at this either, so im sure otehr people will come up with a spec, but it looks good to me.

It's a tough call really. Intel vs AMD. I think they are both as good as each other. But what do I know. I'm just a poor lonely sheep hearder.

Here's a spec that you be looking to go for. It's a little over your budget but is well worth it. A good case for cooling, a strong quad core CPU, a strong GPU with 2GB of memory for high resolution gaming for your 32" screen. An efficient and good quality CPU cooler and PSU which is a must for a gaming PC. This should let you play most of the latest games at med-high settings no problem.
