Looking for a Solid gaming PC to last a few years

Support needed...

At the moment I certainly plan on playing the Total War games and i know some of the above might be considerable overkill for that, but i dont plan on tweaking this too much for a while.
Current monitor isnt 4K, its not even HDMI - but i will inevitably buy a 4K Monitor (provided the below could support it!)

Thanks for getting back. 4K Gaming isnt an essential for me, it was just an 'if possible' within budget.

I'm looking around the £1000 mark, as for the games i intend to throw at this, it'll be mostly older games that i cant get on my Console, i.e. the total war series, some retros, i would never intend to put i.e. Cyberpunk through it because i would just use that on console.

Other than that just work which doesnt involve any video editing or anything hugely resource intensive.

Thanks for getting back - why do you opt for AMD over Intel and the GTX 1660 Super over the RTX 2060?
Asking purely out of interest.
