Hi There,
I'm looking for a desktop spec that is optimal for streaming and playing high fps games like world of warcraft. My budget would be around £1500-£2000 any help will be appreciated. No need for Monitors etc.

WoW generally seems to rely strongly on single threaded performance and can be CPU bound a lot more than other games, so an OCed Skylake will be better than a Broadwell-E 6 or 8 core CPU. The 6700k is generally better for gaming anyway but it's particularly the case in WoW.

Sorry i didn't get back to you, the screen is 1080x1920, i have modified it a bit to include more hard drive and was wondering will i need a better cooling system if it's overclocked?

also need a suggestion on a new case as the one on the spec i realised is too wide. i currently have the The Coolermaster HAF-X Gaming Case to give you a rough idea, don't want the same case though =D

The Noctua is an excellent cooler and more than enough for an OCed system. While the H100i is even more effective, you don't at all need it.
You could consider one of the Samsung NVMe drives instead of the HyperX (they weren't available when I drew up the spec earlier). A little more expensive but ludicrously fast.

As for the case, whatever you want. Most things above the £60 mark should be fine. The Fractal cases (e.g. Define S, R5) are good.
If you look up reviews of your prospective case bear in m8ind that a lot of reviews focus almost entirely on the build experience, which is largely irrelevant for you as PCS are doing the building. You sometimes need to dig through a few before you get a review with temps and acoustics. :)

That's a big case: "Dimensions 606.5mm x 250mm x 578.5mm (Approx H x W x D)". That's not a criticism, just.. beware that it's BIG.

I have one final suggestion. Once you've ordered it, sleep a lot. It'll help the time to pass by faster and stop you going insane hitting refresh on your "my orders" section to see if it has finally left pre-production and entered the mystical "building" phase. :p

Noooooooo It's going to be longer for my build too finish, the ssd i ordered is out of stock =(

Btw in my email it says: -

512GB SAMSUNG PM961 M.2, PCIe NVMe (up to 2800MB/R, 1600MB/W) - Stock is overdue since 00-00-0000.

why does the stock overdue say that? =p
