My brother is looking to buy a gaming pc. What do you guys think of this spec? Would like to spend £850 MAX. Any modifications you would suggest, would like it to be future proof, and would the psu be enough for 2x 6850 in the future in crossfire??

Change the CPU to a Phenom II x4 970 because most games won't use more than 3 cores. The 970 will provide better performance in games due its cores being faster, change the RAM to 1333mhz because unless you're overclocking it's just a waste of money and won't benefit you. With these changes you can afford to put a Radeon HD6870 in the build instead of the 6850 which is a better GPU and will provide more performance from crossfire, a TX750 will be enough to run the system with two 6870's.

Great spec, well balanced, and consider the advice from Pheonix as it may save you a few pennies. :)
