Looking for some help here, advice welcomed.

Hi everybody, as I mentioned I'm a noob when it comes to building PC's or just building in general.

I'm not looking for anybody to put me a machine together, but more for help on making good choices on components. What I m looking to build is something that is the following.

A PC that can:

Last me about 2 years(until I can save for a really good spec)

Can play the latest games(BF 4, ARMA 3, ETC) in HD or really good graphics)

Can watch movie by disk(DVD & BR) and stream movies in HD

Potential to upgrade if wanted and needed

Has good storage space to store(games, movies, music, photos & docs)

Is Wifi

Not to large in physical size

-----------------

Now I don't know much but from what I have read on the web, I need a CPU that is compatible with my motherboard, and around 8GB of DDR3 Memory from a reputable manufacturer.

A Power unit that can withhold the power output from all my components

A GPU with good bandwidth - 1gb of DDR5. 1GB of GDDR5 is better than 3gb of GDDR3???

I would need a sound card for good audio quality

A hard drive of 1TB that runs 7200rpm, is SATA and capable of 6GB per sec

A Wireless card and a Sound Card for wifi.

A HD Monitor(1080p)???????

I guess what Im looking for is a mini entertainment system, I don't have a budget but I want to keep things reasonable and sensible without running into thousands of pounds. Can I do it?

Are you requesting help for self building? Then I am afraid that's not allowed in here, give advice on single parts since the forum belongs to PCS who sells desktops/laptops. If you have a budget and indicate your intended use someone could come up with a spec for you.
