Looking to upgrade my Nvidia 1060 6gb Gfx card to a 2070. Will it fit in the case?

Got the below build from PC Specialist a couple of years ago. Been very happy with it especially how quiet it all is. However, I’m looking to upgrade the graphics card to a 2070 (keeping everything else the same). I’m worried it might not fit? I’m also concerned about opening it up and actually replacing it. Is this hard to do with this case and the stuff I have inside it? I don’t normally open up the PC myself but have replaced cards in the decades ago lol. I think it’s just a simple case of taking the old out and slotting the new one in? Like I won’t need to take other stuff out to get to it and I don’t need to connect any cables other than the power cable from psu to the card or reinstall Windows Or change bios settings etc?

Would this be a decent upgrade to the graphics card? I don’t plan on overclocking or playing the latest games all the time, however I’m planning on using my Oculus Rift on it more which I got recently. Noticed I dropped frames slightly on Half Life Alyx sometimes, assuming because it’s using the 1060 6gb card and not a beefier one? I also noticed I can’t run newer games at 4k native without the frame rate tanking to like 25-30fps. Would a 2070 address this? They run in 1080p/60fps fine right now, but would be nice if they ran native res on my 4k Samsung 65" tv With a smooth fps.

would using the 2070 increase the noise a lot more even when idle? At the moment it’s super quiet on idle and barely goes louder even when I’m gaming using something intensive as Oculus.

Firstly, I would hold off getting a 2070 Super and wait a couple of months for the 3000 series, they are set to be a big jump in performance and you’ll get more performance for less money, plus better support for newer technologies.

Shouldn’t be a problem at all, the PSU is plenty powerful enough (and a high tier). That’s a good strong platform for almost any upgrade you want.

Size wise the case is fine for a 2070 Super.

If noise is a consideration, you may be better off sourcing a higher tier card from somewhere like amazon as it’s hit and miss going for one of the PCS ones as to which model you’ll get. A dual fan or even triple fan cooler would be the best, they only really come audible under extreme load and even then the good models are still very quiet.

Oh I always thought latest video cards would cost a lot more? 3000 series would cost less than £500? that’s about the price I see on Amazon for a 2070
