M.2 SSD not showing in BIOS

Hi there,

I've just gotten a new Desktop from PC Specialist. Yesterday it was working fine and had no problems with windows 10 booting up. Today the desktop froze with only 2 Applications open. I couldn't CTR ALT DEL or click on anything soa had to restart by the power button.

After powering back on, windows 10 won't load and it forces me into the BIOS everytime. Windows 10 was installed on the M.2 SSD drive by PC specialist and now the BIOS doesn't list that drive. Only the other 1TB HDD is showing.

The M.2 SSD is fully secured and I have also updated the BIOS to the latest update via USB but it still hasn't resolved it.

The Motherboad is ASUS TUF Z370-PLUS GAMING II and the SSD is a M.2 Intel 760p 256GB.

I'll be contacting support tomorrow as it isn't open today but wondering if anyone has any ideas with what's going wrong?

Many thanks!

Thought it could be something like that. Thanks for replying 👍
If you give PCS a call first thing, they can probably send a replacement drive to you in the post for you to fit rather than having to send the system back. Saves time and they’re very easy to fit.

If you need any help with installing windows or the drive, we can help out, or again, call PCS and they can talk you through it.

Will definitely give them a call tomorrow. Hopefully they can just send out the replacement, would be even better if they could pre-install Windows on it too. Thanks for the advice :)
