Maximus IV extreme-Z problem.

Hello all

I'm having a boot problem with the Maximus IV extreme-z, when i turn on the PC it sometimes just freezes on the BIOS splash screen and other times it gets past that but freezes/gets stuck on "initializing marvel adapter..."

I really don't know what is doing this. i think it may be my keyboard which is connected via USB that is making it freeze on the bios splash screen but for the initializing marvel adapter problem i have no idea.

any help would be great.

Have you got the mouse and keyboard on the highest USB ports on the motherboard, i used to have my mouse randomly stop working and i can't remember where i read it but someone suggested both the keyboard and mouse should be connected to the top USB ports and that cured my problem.
