Just had an email from Warehouseexpress, thought it was funny but also possibly quite handy if you have a DSLR with video but no external mic. I haven't looked for cheaper or bigger muffs as i don't want to get in trouble with my ISP and i don't do that much video recording.

isit just for mic only? or can this tone down my shooting noise every time i hit the shoot button?

it's just for the mic. reduced wind noise and from auto focus.
some cameras have settings to reduce shutter noise, depends on make model

They do? i dont remeber seeing one on my 50D...unless its only offered in top end slrs?

i have a 7d and that has an option but it's not like i do wildlife shoots so don't really worry about it.

do a google for "canon wonder camera" it's the way forward, no more SLR - from what i remember no shutter, no depth of field (dof) everything is in focus - but if you watch the demo notice that the girl has it hooked up to a massive backpack :¬)
