Mid-High End Gaming Spec

Long time lurker, but first post!

Budget to play with for the spec is £1600, its intended use is for gaming primarily, dual screen setup (got 2 * 24" monitors already), with games on both screens, or on one and a browser on the other etc.

The questions I had:

-Will the cooling be sufficient for both GTX670s, or would the Fat Boy be better?
-Is the airflow on this case sufficient enough? Compared to the CM690II for example?
-Are there any shavings I can make without compromising dual screen performance?

Many Thanks and here is the spec:

The fatboy cooler is for the cpu not the gpu, for multimonitor gaming you would need 3 monitors. If you want to save 1 gtx 670 would be sufficient for 2 screens (1 gaming 1 browsing)

Well you can use two monitors but the cross-hair for example would be in the middle where the two monitors meet.

Thanks for the feedback so far guys.

Silly mistake on my part about the cooling, I knew that, honest!

By multi monitor, I mainly meant dual boxing on games such as RIFT, EVE Online etc, where I will run one client on each monitor, would that work sufficiently?

I assume PCS will supply enough fans to ensure stable temperature levels no matter what GFX options are picked?

Anyone know about the airflow of the case I picked please, compared to others in that price range?

Many thanks
James

The number of chassis fans depends on what case you have chosen or whether you are adding a fan controller. Regarding dual monitor set up, as far as i know, with an nvidia gpu can have either 1 or 3 screens (surround) for gaming. There are ways to make a game fit in 2 screens but it is not supported by nvidia. If you give me more information on the games you mentioned and are available online for free i can give it a go and see if i can get what you are looking for, just PM me.

Is it not as simple as running two clients in windowed mode, and dragging one across to the second monitor?
