Hi guys,
I've finally decided to invest in some new hardware. I want to use the desktop for work (merely word/excel - nothing overly resource hungry) but also for regular gaming in the evening. I'd like a solid mid-range system, something that won't need upgrading the day after it arrives. The upper limit of my budget is £600 although something suitable that comes in cheaper would be great
I'm likely to play online 3D games but I doubt I'll be interested in any of the offline, predominantly single-player kind of games. I am not expecting to get a decent dedicated graphics card within my £600 (although it would be amazing if you could magic one up!), so I will buy one at a later date (any suggestions for a graphics card costing around £100 would be also be useful though...).
Does anybody have any idea about which spec would be most suitable?
Cheers,
CJ
