Mini PC + 3G + GPS

Hello everyone,

I'm starting a project where I need to track the position of a vehicle with GPS and also have it download content from a server to show on a screen.

Things to keep in mind:

- The goal is to have this installed in multiple vehicles.
- GPS system with a precision under 3 meters.
- It will need to access internet, 3g minimum.
- It will have to turn on automatically when the vehicle starts and turn off when the vehicle turns off.
- It could be on for 24h sometimes, which means it will probably need something that don't overheat easily.
- The idea is to turn it into a business, so I will need many units.
- It has to cost under 300$, screen not included.
- I'm in Europe, so I will probably be doing a contract with a telecommunications company if this project becomes viable.

Will raspberry Pi be a good solution for what I need?

I was also wondering if anyone knows what are the best ways to get GPS with good accuracy and 4G working with Raspberry Pi.

Also if you know other alternatives besides Raspberry Pi that could work, keeping in mind that it has to be a small solution and not very expensive.

So, my idea for hardware is:

- Raspberry pi
- GPS: http://www.amazon.com/NEO-7M-C-High...ie=UTF8&qid=1442193183&sr=8-4&keywords=neo-7m
- 4G: I'd get a dongle for 30$ or something.

Do you think this is the best solution for gps+4g and mini computer?

Any ideas/sugestions/opinions?!

All the help and enlighment you can give it's appreciated! Thanks in advance.
