Mitac 9225 Calpella Memory Upgrade

Hi

Just had my laptop over 14 months, now thinking of upgrading the memory.

The chassis is Mitac 9225 Calpella and supports upto 8Gb. How do you access the memory modules on this? is it a case of opening the entire bottom panel.

Any help would be welcomed.

Normally on a laptop it's just a matter of taking off a small plate on the back,
held by 2 or 3 screws.

The base is solid, only scews visable are holding the base onto the motherboard. and a panel for the battery.

Sorry,Ive never come across one like that,
have you a manual for it.

NO manual, just the main one that PCSPECIALIST hand out when you buy a machine. Even then inside it, it says there should be a panel for the memory access.

Have also tried to get in contact with PCSPECIALIST themselves to see how it is done.

Either give them a phone call, take a picture of the base of the chassis and post it here, that way we can help you a little easier!

Cant see any pic milltear,
unless one of the admins step in here,
I think you will have to call PCS for an answer.
