Monitor choice advice

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for a monitor for my new build and I would like some advice on choosing which one! This PC will be for gaming on. I am looking for a 4K monitor, I have been recommended to get atleast a 32 inch monitor to support this. High refresh rate and IPS display would be ideal.

My budget would be around £600 but this is very much up for change.

Here are the specs for the PC;

I have done a bit of my own research and I think this is my best option I found:

Dell G3223Q

4K, 144hz, 32inch, IPS - £640
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09WNG9...osi&th=1&psc=1&ascsubtag=ecSEP12sz3gjln1rea4h

Would anyone recommend/support this Dell monitor? Or do you have any other recommendations?

Any help is appreciated :)

It’s a very entry level monitor, it’s one of the cheapest on the market so it’s never going to be a great experience. It will be fine, but imho you’re uneccessarily forcing 4k over a good gaming experience.

4k really isn’t all it’s cracked up to be

Thanks for the advice!

Do you have any suggestions for monitors which would be better suited for a good gaming experience? 4K or not.

The Alienware would be the best of the bunch.

What kinds of games are you playing?

Is there any reason you’re so set on 4k?

What resolution are you coming from and on console or pc?
