Hi all
I have a new PC from PC specialist. When the PC is running I can hear a kind of "electrical squeal/squealching" noise that I think I have isolated to the motherboard (by removing other components such as the GFX card, USB card etc). The pitch and rate varies depending on the graphical work load -even on a static web page, just moving the mouse causes a change in pitch.
I also get a set of flickering horizontal lines on the monitor - and these seem to be in the same frequency as the squealing - feels like an electrical interference.
This has done this since day one and I am concerned that it may be a MoBo fault??
Has anyone got any tips/ideas before I think about the dreaded RMA.....
Thanks
