Monitor shows no signal and there is no post beep

I've just got my PC from here Yesterday and whenever I boot up my PC there is no beep and the monitor shows no signal, how can I fix this?

If you are comfortable with doing so take off the side panel and check to see if the GPU is fully pushed into the pci slot.

Are there any leds on the motherboard when you power on the pc?

Have you got the monitor plugged into the graphics card output, not the onboard output (if you have a dedicated card)?
