So I recently sent off my computer because all of a sudden and without any sort of warning it wouldnt even post. no bios just a blank screen and not a peep from the motherboard. Having got my computer back from pc specialist it was okay for 4 weeks and then same issue without warning motherboard just not beeping or posting at all the lights were on but no one was home anyone any idea what could have caused this and how to avoid this. I have sent it off to pc specialist again. i but they didnt tell me the cause. My mobo was a Ma597

I want to know if there is something i did that cuased the sudden fault in the mobo

A virus shouldn't cause a fault in the motherboard (at least that is what I assume). Did they replace the motherboard?

I'd follow Keynes' advice and get back in touch with PCS tech support. Using the PC (as you have been) imo shouldn't cause the problems you're having.
