mouse not working on mouse mat

anyone had this? it works on a magazine but not on my new mouse mat, or my desk, kinda annoying

laser and a goliathus mouse mat, quite soft, fragged i think it was

My mouse won't work on paper.. Black magic.

Is ti blue or red laser?

strange does it work when the mouse goes over the pattern?

doesnt have a laser light but still works on certain surfaces, i won it from PCS, so i doubt i can get another

just took a look, check your mouse`s software i think theres a calibration tool for the lazer.

Check it's not filled with dust, and the mousemat is clean? (obvious things really)

ok so i just did a quick change of USB ports for it and bam, its working better than ever, wtf? seriously what does that have to do with anything
