Moving Hardware from Old to New PC - Warranty Question

Hey Guys,

I have a quick question. I have, as most would have, componets that exist in the current PC - such as Sound Card, Hard Drives etc - that I plan on migrating to my new build once it arrives.

The question is - would performing these tasks then void my warranty and return service given I have opted for the 2yr one.

Id hate to have forked out for a dear rig and do these simple household tasks then have something go wrong and then have no comeback on it.

Hi Quander,

Our warranty is fairly lenient and we allow customers to open up the PC & fit their own components etc. However, if any damage/faults occur as a result of you fitting your own components then we cannot be held responsible and the repair will not be covered under the warranty.

To be honest I have forgotten the last time this happened anyway so unless you do something really silly I doubt you'll have anything to worry about!
