My 1st Gaming Laptop

So I got recommended this quote by having a live chat with PCS but I am holding it off due to the additional tax . It originally came down to €1,319.17 but with the tax it came up to €1,540.87 but that is too out of my budget , but I will wait for some months to wait for the next 12th gen cpu's and hopefully these come down with price . ( Do note that the RTX 3060 is 110w TDP and its a DGPU )Now apparently I have to pay like 200 Euro more because I live in Malta . Any Suggestions ?

What are you going to be using the laptop for - what type of games do you play etc?

VAT would be payable either through PCS (if they have an arrangement with Malta) OR when it is imported to you in Malta, you would have to pay your customs / excise duty etc.

To bring it down in price you could go for the 3050Ti but as you've mentioned the 3060 I expect thats not an option for you.

We love you Ukraine
PCS aren't VAT registered in Malta, so you would need to pay the extra VAT when it hit customs.

I'm incorrect, PCS are VAT registered in Malta I believe.

I think you would need to order the PC from www.pcspecialist.it and specify the delivery country to Malta and it should include any taxes and import VAT at checkout.

Also, I note the following information is provided through the order process if you order from the .co.uk website for delivery to Malta:

If I order from the Italian since it's part of the EU I won't have to pay extra. Thanks

I think you may still have to as the shipment is from the UK (not in the EU). Also if you look when going through the order on the .it website then you get the same message (in Italian) warning you of this for shipment to Malta:

You will need to look into it and maybe give them a call on how it works before just ordering so you dont get a shock if you do get charged extra.

Have you asked in the Italian forums if anyone has ordered for delivery to Malta - in case they can help you?
