Background
I designed a desktop I thought was a decent combination. It arrived and didn't work, but after several days back and forth with support and them swapping out a component, it still doesn't work and I've requested a refund.
When I posted about the problem, I was advised my build was bad anyway, so I'm feeling pretty discouraged. I want to have another go, recommendations?

Requirements
- Budget: £900
- Work: I do a lot of graphic design stuff on Affinity Publisher/Photo/Designer, a fair amount of audio editing with Audacity and a little bit of video editing (mostly clipping, scaling and colouring footage) on DaVinci Resolve. Beyond that, I do a bit of word processing and a bit of webdev, but that shouldn't be anywhere near as demanding, right?
- Gaming: the most graphics-intensive game I play is No Man's Sky, most of my time gaming is spent on pixelly indie games or Minecraft, so I'm not bothered about ray tracing. Does that mean I can save on buying the latest graphics cards, or am I still going to want something as close to new as possible for design purposes?
- Storage: I have a 1tb internal HDD which can happily move over from my old device, along with a 2TB external, so file management isn't too much of an issue, but especially with editing stuff, I'd like 1tb SSD so any working files aren't slowed down by the age of my main storage.
