My Gaming PC Build

Hey everyone who is better with computers than me lol, thanks for reading this and any help you can provide in advance.

I am after a gaming desktop that is able to run any game that's out at max or near to max graphics settings with good, consistent FPS (eg. Arma 2/3, BF4, next-gen titles). I am stuck between my budget (around £1300 though slightly flexible) and my desire to get the best thing possible. I'd really appreciate some feedback on the build i have selected ie. is there anywhere i need to spend more, anywhere i can spend less, any part that would be better than what i have chosen. I've done my research but nothing matches actual experience with these things so i welcome all feedback from any PC gamers / wizards out there. Also, more specifically, how much of this will i be able to upgrade later? (ie RAM, graphics card etc)

PCS Maelstrom T900 Case
CPU: Intel I7-4820K 3.7GHz
MBoard: Asus Sabertooth X79
RAM: 8GB
GPU: 2GB Nvidia GTX 770
1st HD: 2TB SATA-III HDD
2nd HD: 120GB SSD Kingston V300
Power Supply: Corsair 750W RM series
Standard Processor Cooling(???)
2 x Extra case fans
Arctic MX-4 Thermal Paste
Windows 8
--------------------------
=£1290 w/ other parts not worth mentioning

Thanks very much for reading and any help you can give me,
Much love
Alex

thanks thats really helpful i think im gonna go with the i-7 and spend a little more but i think you're right about the 3Gb 780 graphics card and the rest looks good,
so this will be able to run those games no problem you reckon? also will i be able to upgrade the ram to 16gb later? i know 8gb is absolutely fine for now but at some point

Definitely, you can check benchmarks online to check the performance of the gtx 780. For the games you mentioned it will run them at ultra settings with high fps.
