Ignore this thread - headset is faulty. Gonna take it back and swap it.
It's a Microsoft Lifechat LX 3000. I've had them before, at least once a year over the last decade, they're usually a greay little headset for their cheap price. This time, however, they sound crap. The left ear cup keeps vibrating. I think the bass/treble is too high. Does anybody know of a universal program I can use that'll alter the bass/treble? It's a USB connection and I only have an onboard sound card, you know the motherboard one.
