What's funny is that I am getting PM's from multiple people that are appalled by the responses of the moderators to this thread, I suppose they dont want to make their true perspectives clear here because they too might threatened with a ban for being honest and frustrated. I guess the admins and mods prefer an echo chamber.

Still no response from SpyderTracks even after he accused me of 'fatally' damaging my own GPU and there being question marks over my account.

Seems contradictory to the other moderators view that we can only speak in facts here. o_O

A couple of things, first of all I fully understand your frustration, honestly you will not find someone more critical of PCS than I am. You will just have to trust me on that. Everyone on here is a volunteer or a PCS customer. Nobody on here works for PCS or has any vested interest in PCS as a company, except to try to help other customers out (except for a couple of members who explicitly state in their sigs that they work for PCS).

Whilst you are clearly frustrated and in my opinion with plenty of reason, an awful lot of what you have written comes across as being incredibly petulant. You make an awful lot of inferences which come across as you trying to point out people's incompetence, without having much good evidence of issues being caused any other way than just pure accident. You also use an awful lot of loaded language which appears designed to wind up people who may disagree with you.

Whilst I wont get into the specific problems you have with the moderators, I will say because of the way you have presented your case and the language you have used I am not surprised you have annoyed them.

Now that all being said, I do have sympathy with your situation and personally I believe you would be well within your rights to 1. A replacement GPU that is brand new and 2. if you desired a full refund.

I also believe that if you keep a level head and put this in writing to PCS they would be more than accommodating, trust me on this one as I have more experience with PCS customer service and returns policy than probably anyone on this forum.

Eh? I wrote an accurate summary of my experience and used some adjectives to describe more aptly my emotions, sorry for being human and not a robot.

In response to that description of my experience and a mention that the service has been incompetent (mostly DPD) I get accused of lying in my account (insinuated by the 'question marks' comment) and of personally causing 'fatal' damage to my PC (which is an attack on both my account and my character) by a moderator (who ought to consider the weight of his comments considering his 'authority') who doesnt even bother to identify the questions nor how I may have damaged the GPU. Another moderator then makes the same accusation with an attempt to justify it and the 'justification' is shown demonstratably false and not supported by anything that I have written.

I admit my responses to these accusations have an element of saltiness to them, I think that is perfectly reasonable given the situation. To suggest it is petulance is just a superficial way of trying to subvert the discussion.

Man you are hard work.

I'll put it bluntly.

I agree with the core premise of your grievance. Just when you try to explain that grievance to people try to imagine you aren't 12.

Tbh it just seems like Jp got screwed. Pcs are expensive these days so getting a damaged GPU, faulty ethernet port on the mobo, packaging issues, delivery issues. I'm not surprised he's salty he should be, I'd be really annoyed too. I'm not against him telling his story and putting PCS on blast for it on the forums either. Helps customers become more aware of the risks. Hopefully you can get replacements (if you still have your warranty).

I think it's fair to say this thread has ran its course now. There's no merit to going around it any more as we have no way of appeasing anyone or influencing anything through this particular channel.

If there is a resolution reached with PCS or a further update on factual and helpful information to add then feel free to message any of the mods to have it inserted in future.

For now, thread closed.
