So I recently wanted to freshly install windows 10 as i was having a frequent blue screen issues. First I tried to reset this pc but it didn’t work properly. I then did a system restore to an older state. The Laptop opened once after the restore but i couldn’t open start menu so i forced shut down pc. Now the laptop won’t even go past the initial PC specialist logo loading screen. It just loads forever. I tried to install windows 10 through usb but still infinite loading. Also, when it goes to the automatic repair screen, I cant click on system restore or reset pc it just freezes up. Furthermore, when i click startup repair it gives me an error. I will post screenshot. When i press continue to windows 10 from the trouble shoot screen it just goes to a dark screen.

You'll need to clean install, the reset probably was in the middle of deleting so you've got a corrupt windows

The BSOD Doctor
Are you sure you're booting the installation media and not the existing (broken) Windows system?

These are the four phases during the boot process....
  1. PreBoot: The PC's firmware initiates a power-on self test (POST) and loads firmware settings. This pre-boot process ends when a valid system disk is detected. The UEFI firmware is read and this starts the Windows Boot Manager. The BIOS logo is displayed during this phase.

  2. Windows Boot Manager: Windows Boot Manager finds and starts the Windows loader (Winload.exe) on the Windows boot partition. A black screen with a blinking cursor is displayed in this phase.

  3. Windows operating system loader: Essential drivers required to start the Windows kernel are loaded and the kernel starts to run. The 'spinning wheel' is displayed in this phase.

  4. Windows NT OS Kernel: The kernel loads into memory the system registry hive and other drivers that are marked as BOOT_START.
The kernel passes control to the session manager process (Smss.exe) which initialises the system session, and loads and starts the devices and drivers that aren't marked BOOT_START. The Windows login screen is (eventually) displayed in this phase.
You can see that you're stuck at phase 3, during the Windows kernel load and start. The kernel of the installation media should be perfect, so if it's stuck there I'd suggest you're either not booting the installation media, or you have some devices plugged in that need specific drivers, or you have some sort of RAM issue that is preventing the kernel load/start process.

Once you have triple-checked that you ARE booting the installation media, unplug all external devices, remove one RAM card and try again. If that fails swap the cards over and try again.
