I've placed an order after checking specs out for a few weeks.

My HP Pavilion is almost 8 years old & due for replacement, I've been looking for something to replace it but struggled to find something with a much better spec at a decent price until someone recommended this site.

Originally I was going to get another laptop, but comparing specs here convinced me a mini PC was the way to go, as normally I don't use my away from home much. I have and existing screen & other accessories from an old tower unit so I didn't have to but too many from here.

I've been sent a build date of 28/12/2020, a little longer than I expected but understandable at this time of year and the current world situation effecting the supply of parts.

Until I had some news about my financial situation I was holding back on placing an order, otherwise I would have ordered earlier.

I've managed to get it up & running OK so far, with just a few little quirks needed when setting up.

It runs nice & quietly, with little fan noise and a fair bit fast than my existing laptop when browsing online.

So far I've only ported over my Firefox bookmarks, as the data migration will take a long time!

About the only problem I've encountered so far is the DVD drive is fitted upside down for using it on a desktop with it in a landscape position!

I didn't realise it could be fitted to the back of a monitor using the standard VESA mount, which I might do as this will take up less desk space & I won't need to get the DVD drive orientation changed as it will now be facing the right way.

I've managed to migrate over most of the important files, this took a bit longer to do because the first link cable wouldn't work & I had to wait for another to arrive.

It's been fairly easy once I know what to do, I was worried that iTunes would be difficult but this went smoother than I thought.

I have almost all the major software installed that was on my old laptop, so more or less everything is going well.

While the fan noise is quieter than my previous computers it does have a tinny quality to it which can be distracting, but I only really notice it when there's no other sounds around though.
