Hi yea , i had to stick with a max budget of £1500 , other than gaming i will be using it mainly for browsing and storing photos maybe some films .
Could i have done better with this money ? maybe go with a better CPU and a lower spec motherboard to stay within budget ? if so please advise.

I'd agree with a better CPU - e.g. the i7 7700k - for this budget.

You could go for a cheaper motherboard although the Z270E does have a good number of features like wifi, bluetooth, better onboard sound, USB 3.1 including type C.

The WD Black drives have a huge price premium and for gaming aren't really worth it.

What monitor will you be using? You could save £200 by going for a GTX 1060 3gb which would be enough for 1008p gaming at pretty high settings.

Hi , the monitor i will be using for now is the HP 23" LED , however i may eventually save and buy a 4K Monitor further down the line , the games i play is DOOM , HLDM , Alien Isolation.
As for the Western Digital Black 1TB HDD .. i believe this make is the most reliable and quickest on offer ?

It also costs more than a 2TB regular HDD. Any speed increase it does offer is not worth the premium for gaming. See this article:

There's just no benefit worth the cost for a WD Black 7200rpm drive vs any other branded 7200rpm drive.

And as for reliability it's really not an issue. a) You should be backing up your data anyway and b) the % difference in the chance of a regular HDD vs a WD Black HDD kicking the bucket in a given timespan doesn't seem worth paying 73% more(!) for.

The WD Black is £73 vs a regular 7200rpm drive at £42. I own a WD Black but I wouldn't buy one again today for that kind of price.

Then I'd strongly recommend sticking with the GTX 1060, which is very good at 1080p gaming. When you move to 4k gaming you likely will find a GTX 1080 inadequate. Thus there is no point to buying one now because it's a) overkill for 1080p and b) won't be good enough when you move to 4k.

Much better, in my opinion, to get a powerful GTX 1060 that meets your needs now, saving you almost £300 which you can put towards a next-gen GPU when you buy your 4k monitor next year, or whenever

Hi Guys , Thank you for your help in this matter , i have now made some changes to the original taking on board what was suggested as you can see from below , however i decided to keep the Nvidea 1070 card and i am extremly happy with these changes now .. so looking forward to this being built and sent now.
